I regret that I was away on vacation last week when it was confirmed that the previously unidentified drowning victim pulled from the James River was William Dale Moore, brother of our beloved actor and friend, Steve Moore. Steve is currently appearing in The Odd Couple at Barksdale Hanover Tavern, and recently co-starred in Mame at Barksdale Willow Lawn.We are keeping Steve and his family in our prayers as they deal with this tragic loss. I know that Steve takes comfort in knowing that our community stands with him during this terrible time, providing a foundation of love and support that he can fall back on if and when he needs to.
We offer our deepest sympathy, and trust that Steve and his family will let us know if there’s anything more that we can do.

Steve Moore has to be one of the nicest (and funniest) members of the Richmond theater community. I'm so sorry to read such sad news. I hope Steve knows that everyone is pulling for him.
Steve Moore is truly a treasure and we couldn't love him more. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
